10 Reasons to Play World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King

1. This expansion pack is a certified record breaking best seller. According to sources, when the product was released in the US in November 13, 2008, more than 2.8 million copies were purchased in as little as 24 hours! Talk about selling like hotcakes.

2. Go where no other WoW player has gone before. Wrath of the Lich King is set in a whole new continent in Azeroth, known as Northrend. Northrend is also the realm of the star of the show, the Lich King. Players from all levels can travel to and explore Northrend, but certain features and content can only be accessed from level 68 and above.

3. A new character class – Hero. In Wrath of the Lich King, the very first hero class that players can develop is the Death Knight, while subsequent hero classes may be expected in other expansion sets in the future. Players who achieve level 55 can access the Death Knight hero class.

4. Wrath of the Lich King increases the level cap. While in The Burning Crusade, the level cap is 70, in the second expansion set, this has been increased to 80. 8. Wrath of the Lich King features a new profession you might want to try. This is called Inscription, which makes it possible for characters to create and enhance their spells, and at the same time, buy, trade, or sell such spell enhancements.
