In World of Warcraft, where can I get a minion for my Gnome Warlock?
I\’m not new to the game, i had a mage but this is really different ha.can anyone help where i get my minion ? and maybe anything i need to know being a Wizard ?
First Step
If you are playing a warlock, you\’re first minion will be a quest given to you by your first trainer in the starting area, normally around levels 2-5. That\’s when you get your imp.
Your next minion will be the voidwalker, and he\’s about levels 10-14, also a quest from your warlock trainers.
Then you can grab the quests for your succubus at level 20, also a quest.
The next felhunter, at level 30.
The felguard is a specced minion, meaning you have to have talent points spent in demonolgy.
And your infernal is also specced.
Finally you can enslave other demons to use as minions, but you have to learn the spell first.
Remember that any minion above the imp must have a soul shard to summon.
More information… In World of Warcraft, where …
- Warlocks enslave demons and call upon dark magic and curses to dominate and destroy their foes. Like hunters, warlocks employ combat pets, but these are summoned demons rather than tamed beasts. They are primarily ranged magic damage dealers with a focus on damage over time in addition to nukes and AoE, but lack the extreme burst damage capabilities of a mage. Demon pets and fear spells give them a variety of tactical options, and they have several utility spells and abilities, including summoning party members and creating healthstones and soulstones.
If I remember correctly, you can get your imp pet at level 1 though the quest for it is like level 4. Then a voidwalker at level 10. A succubus at level 20 and a Fel Hound at level 30. You get other demon pets depending on your Spec. If you choose to be a Demonologist you get another pet. At level 40 you get to 'summon' your mount instead of having to purchase it like other classes besides paladins. Saves you a lot of gold. ^_^
Below, the second link tells you where to get your imp. I don't know what level you are on soo I started with the imp.
