What laptops are out there that are under $1,000 and can play World of Warcraft?
Farmer girl asked:I’m starting college in the fall, and looking for a good laptop that is $1,000 or less and is capable of running World of warcraft without much difficulty; so if such a thing exists could someone please point me in the direction of it.
-thanks

It is hard to find a good laptop let alone a desktop that is under $1,000, but I think that the best thing to do is to buy the items needed to build on and use on online guide to build it. It will be cheaper and better then one that you could buy. About.com has a good guide for building a gaming desktop.

Dell XPS is a good lower cost option for gaming. The last answer with bestbuy and the Sony laptop only had Intel graphics, which used to suck really bad (maybe this newest is better). I know you want a seperate graphics card installed (Nvidia or ATI graphics card). The higher the graphics memory size the better. Look on the recommended specs for WOW game and see what they recommend to play. You can check Tigerdirect.com for some good deals too. The main things you are looking for is memory (1-2 gigs - add 512 mb if running vista), harddrive space 80 gig is pretty good, cpu type & speed, and graphics card type. Good luck. Do some research. Educate yourself on how to buy a computer and it’ll pay off big time.

WoW has low PC requirements surprisingly, here is my suggestion.
**.node3?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PGWoW can be played using about 1GB ram+, video cards arent much of problem, and processor, i have 3.2 Ghz and it runs without lag in most places, so this will work fine.
