Hey everybody!

I just had some general questions about professions.

1. What does it mean to have Increased *profession*? I just do not understand what it means.
-Example: Gnomes- Engineering… Dreanei- Jewlcrafting… Blood Elves- Enchanting.

2. Can Professions go above 375 under any circumstances?

First Step

1. It means you start out with bonus skill points in it for being said race.

2. Yes, in WotLK, the maximum profession level is being increased to 450 I believe. However, if you\’re talking about the live realms, the only way to go above 375 is to have a profession as a racial bonus. (I.e. My Tauren is a herbalist at max level and Taurens get a bonus to herbalism, so currently my herbalism level is 390. It\’s a bit useless once you get to max level…) Also you can enchant some pieces of gear to give bonuses to professions as well. read more …
