First Step

To pick the right race you need to take a look at the racial abilities and see if they\’re suitable for the classes you\’re interested. If you want to be a Hunter, Warlock or a dps Warrior, an Orc might be better suited for you. They get the ability Bloody Fury which increases their Attack Power (for melee) or Spell Damage (for casters) for 15 seconds. They also have Command, which increases damage done by your pet by 5% and applies to both Hunter -and- Warlock pets. They also have the racial ability Hardiness, which increases your resistance to stun effects by a whopping 15%, which is extremely useful in pvp.

A Tauren, on the other hand, would be the better class for you to pick if you\’re considering being a Druid or Protection specced Warrior (aka Tank). Their racial abilities include War Stomp, which stuns up to 5 enemies around you for a couple seconds and interrupts spellcasts; they also have Endurance which gives them +5% maximum HP (health points). That, in addition to their natural resistance to Nature damage (+10) makes them a very desirable race for anyone who wants to be able to handle taking a lot of damage.

Just try to pick a class that best suits your playing style. If you have a hard time identifying with any one class, I suggest you try a Druid or Paladin, because they can Heal, DPS, or Tank extremely well depending on how you use your talent points.

• I liked the taurin side
  and the orcs are cool
  out of the two i spent the most time playing as the taurin

  but my favourite is the dwarf hunter im at level 15
  and recently ive seen the weapons master and i can weild a whole bunch of weapons
